President/CEO:
Edward Robert Pascoe has been a Mortgage Broker since 1990 specializing in lending to commercial users through banks, institutions, and private investors. Pascoe also acts as an adviser for his clients actively involved in commercial Trust Deed investing by providing high quality and high yield investments that most appropriately fit their investments portfolios.
After service in the United States Air Force and then College, Pascoe began his career in marketing and management positions with Shell Oil Company. Pascoe left Shell Oil and purchased several gas stations and a mini-market ultimately becoming President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Inland Oil Company,Inc. In 1985, Pascoe started his real estate carrer as a Realtor® listing and selling residential properties. In 1987 he joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate (now CBRichard Ellis) as a commercial investments and land specialist. In 1990 Pascoe became full-time Mortgage Broker enabling him to build a strong list of mortgage banking relationships and clients that helped him in creating Placer Funding.
Ed is a retired member of Rotary International, a Paul Harris Fellow, past President of the Northern Sierra Summer Home Association, past President of the Wrights Lake Summer Home Association, a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a member of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers, a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and a member of the Realtors National Marketing Institute.

Hamit E. Utush has more than ten years of progressive experience in corporate management and the real estate industry serving in many multi-faceted capacities. Hamit assists clients of Placer Funding, Inc., by securing commercial financing for a variety of commercial real estate projects, which is achieved through cohesive utilization of his advanced analytical skills in conjunction with the company's extensive network of data and streamlined processes for debt procurement. Hamit possesses an impeccable and proven track record successfully securitizing debt for core property types (retail, office, industrial, multi-family) including special-use properties, such as gas stations (even those with environmental issues) in relation to acquisition, construction, and/or investment/divestment purposes.
Prior to joining Placer Funding, Inc., Hamit was a former banker at Wells Fargo Bank working within the organization's Middle Market Real Estate Group ("MMRE") in dual-capacity as a Financial Analyst and Relationship Manager. During his tenure with Wells Fargo Bank, Hamit provided clients with financing solutions for real estate projects with loan amounts ranging from $5 million to $25 million. Hamit's success in loan securitization was attained by the implementation of a thorough progression which included financial review analysis and underwriting in accordance with Industry standards for top-tier developers/investors with estimated after-tax net worth's up to $100MM. This experience has provided Hamit with an intimate knowledge of primary and special purpose real estate property types and the specific details pertaining to each respective category for the purpose of analysis, securitization, and portfolio management. In addition to assisting with financing options, Hamit also served as an adviser to his clients, consulting on an array of real estate topics, which in combination with his experience and education; make him a valuable asset and addition to Placer Funding, Inc.
Additionally, Hamit is a licensed California Real Estate Broker with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Economics from Saint Mary's College of California, where he excelled in his academics while playing collegiate soccer for a NCAA Division I University. Mr. Utush is currently in the process of completing graduate business studies in the Executive Masters in Business Administration ("Executive M.B.A.") Program also from Saint Mary's College of California and holds candidacy as a Certified Commercial Investment Member ("CCIM"). A CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate and demonstrate marked proficiency in the areas of financial investment analysis.
